2015 Volkswagen Golf R

2015 will see the introduction of the latest Golf R, the most powerful version of the Golf ever to be sold in this market. With an estimated 290 horsepower, the new Golf R has 34 horsepower more than the previous version, which was sold as a 2013 model. Despite the additional horsepower, the new R model is expected to be considerably more fuel-efficient than its predecessor with a manufacturer-estimated highway fuel economy rating of 31 mpg with the six-speed manual transmission, up from 27 mpg.

2017 Ford F-150 Raptor

Ford, America’s truck leader, today introduced the all-new F-150 Raptor – the ultimate high-performance off-road pickup in the company’s lineup.

2016 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS

The 911 Targa 4 GTS and Cayenne Turbo S are celebrating their world premieres at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. For the first time, the 911 Targa 4 GTS combines the successful GTS idea with the classic targa concept. Its more powerful engine with 430 hp (316 kW) and standard Sport Chrono package generate even more dynamic performance. Other GTS-specific ingredients include matt black 20-inch wheels with central wheel locks, sport design front end, black air intake screens and, also in black, GTS logos on the doors, at the rear and on the rollover protection bar. Inside, the black Alcantara on the steering wheel and seats and trim accents made of black brushed aluminum create a sporty flair.

2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid

Hyundai launched its first plug-in hybrid vehicle today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is expected to travel up to 22 miles on electric power and can recharge in as little as two and a half hours with a Level 2 charger. Sonata Plug-in Hybrid will be built at the Asan, South Korea plant and will go on sale in select markets later this year.

On 4 September of 2012, Volkswagen celebrated the world premiere of the new Golf in Berlin. Just one day later, advance sales of the car - a best-seller with over 29 million units sold - began in initial launch countries. Just three weeks later, Volkswagen presented the Golf for the first time to a large audience at the Paris Motor Show. And the first Golf cars will arrive at dealers on 10 November (launch in Germany). The seventh generation of this Volkswagen delivers the best Golf ever: its weight was reduced by up to 100 kg, thereby reversing the often cited upward weight spiral. Fuel economy was improved by a maximum of 23 per cent, depending on engine selection.
