2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country

Volvo Cars will unveil the long-awaited V60 Cross Country at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
“We are delighted to add the third true Cross Country model to our product portfolio. The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the V60 Cross Country in a class of its own,” said Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management at Volvo Cars.

Heritage

The Cross Country brand has a long and distinguished heritage. Volvo Cars was the first premium brand to offer increased all-road capability and styling on its wagons as far back as 1997 when it introduced the V70 Cross Country, creating a whole new type of car experience that has since captured the imagination of the motoring public.
Reflecting Volvo’s Scandinavian heritage and love of nature and adventure, the V60 Cross Country brings together the best of both worlds – a sporty, connected yet comfortable driving experience with the freedom to explore new horizons.

2015 Audi Q3

Since its market launch in fall 2011, the Q3 model series has been a successful model for the Audi brand. But Audi is also constantly improving good and successful models. The new Audi Q3* and RS Q3* models not only feature a refreshed design, they also boast a number of technical innovations.

Engines

The engine lineup for the Audi Q3 comprises three TFSI units and three TDI clean diesel four-cylinder units. Displacement ranges from 1.4 to 2.0 liters and output from 88 kW (120 hp) to 162 kW (220 hp). All are turbocharged, direct-injection units and comply with the limits of the Euro 6 emission standard. With the help of sophisticated thermal management, they quickly come up to operating temperature following a cold start.
Compared with the previous model, performance is even better and CO2 emissions have been reduced by up to 17 percent (2.0 TDI manual FWD). The 1.4 TFSI COD and the 2.0 TDI clean diesel with 110 kW (150 PS) bear the “ultra” badge as proof of their extraordinary efficiency. Audi models with the name affix “ultra” attain best values in fuel consumption and emissions as the result of a considerable technological input and are the most fuel-efficient automobiles in their segment. The start-stop system is standard with all variants. When braking, it deactivates the engine shortly before the car comes to a stop.

2015 Audi RS Q3

The new Audi RS Q3*, the dynamic spearhead of the Q3 model series, is now even more distinctive and powerful. Its 2.5 TFSI engine satisfies the Euro 6 standard and produces 250 kW (340 hp) and 450 Nm (331.9 lb-ft) of torque, the latter between 1,600 and 5,300 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) takes just 4.8 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155.3 mph). Average fuel consumption is 8.4 liters per 100 kilometers (28.0 US mpg), corresponding to 198 g CO2 per kilometer (318.7 g/km). The start stop system and the regulated oil pump contribute to this good value.

4.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph): the Audi RS Q3

The Audi RS Q3* was updated concurrent with the Q3*. The compact performance SUV is now hotter and more dynamic than ever. Its 2.5 liter, five-cylinder engine now produces 250 kW (340 hp) and 450 Nm (331.9 lb-ft) of torque. It also now satisfies the Euro 6 standard. The top model in the series now accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 4.8 seconds on its way to an electronically governed top speed of 250 km/h (155.3 mph). An RS exhaust system with a switchable flap adds even more volume to the unmistakable sound of the five-cylinder engine.
The seven-speed S tronic, which transfers the power to the quattro drivetrain via a new hydraulic multi-plate clutch (5th generation), has also been refined for even faster gear changes. The lower gears are closely spaced for sporty response while the seventh gear is tall to save fuel.

2016 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe AWD

Today, the new all-wheel-drive Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupé ensured the Bloodhound SSC World Land Speed Record programme passed a significant high-speed testing milestone.
The test marks the start of a major technical partnership between Jaguar and The Bloodhound Project, with the ultimate aim of raising the world land speed record above 1,000mph and to assist in inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers, which is the overall objective of the project. The current record stands at 763.035mph and was set by Andy Green in Thrust SSC in 1997. Andy will drive the Bloodhound Supersonic car.
On the relatively soft surface of the Hakskeen Pan desert in the Northern Cape of South Africa, the stability of the AWD F-TYPE R Coupé and its dynamic ability - it will reach 60mph in just 3.9-seconds with a limited top speed of 186mph - enabled the successful completion of a vital communications test for the Bloodhound SSC team.

2015 AC Schnitzer BMW X4

AC Schnitzer presents a world first at the "Auto Car Show“ in Zürich in November 2014. From 6 to 9.11.2014, the Aachen-based tuning experts present their own typically unique and outstandingly athletic version of the BMW X4.
Athletes are judged by their performance - and the BMW X4 by AC Schnitzer doesn't disappoint in this area. The Aachen tuners let the BMW X4 20i (export version) loose on the road with 245 hp. The BMW X4 28i delivers a mighty 294 hp, and the BMW X4 35i will even impress world championship judges with its 360 hp. Equally impressive is the casual way in which the X4 by AC Schnitzer powers forward from any speed.
And the diesel version is just as good: with performance upgrades to 220 hp (in preparation) for the 20d, 309 hp for the 30d and 360 hp for the 35d, the diesel variants perform brilliantly in the race and - like the petrol-engined versions - stand out thanks to the AC Schnitzer engine styling options. Naturally all performance upgrades were developed on AC Schnitzer's principle of "Efficient Performance“, which means that although the engine power is increased, the CO2 emissions remain the same. So the CO2 value per hp falls.

2015 ABT Audi S8 Power S

Incredibly fast but providing first-class comfort: the Audi S8 tuned by ABT Sportsline is proof of the fact that you can in fact build a super sports car that is not uncomfortable, noisy and cramped. A luxury limo at its core, this car accelerates as fast as a Ferrari or Lamborghini. “As always, we have timed it precisely: our S8 reaches 100 kph in 3.6 seconds. And in contrast to the serial version, its top speed is 290 kph,” says a proud CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt. To realise this impressive performance, the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group has uprated the car from 520 hp / 382 kW to 675 hp / 496 kW and from 650 to 840 Nm.
This is made possible by ABT POWER S New Generation, based upon its own ABT Engine Control including a special software. And an ABT muffler system optimises the technical part without changing the attractive serial look. The entire performance package has been tested on ABT’s own dynamometer and public roads, also for its stability, which is why in Germany it comes with a 2-year warranty on the basis of the manufacturer’s guarantee – from first delivery and up to 100,000 km.

2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 4MATIC Coupe

Mercedes-AMG is putting the pedal to the metal again in the new year. Our model initiative is set to continue at blistering pace in 2014."

2015 Mansory Range Rover Sport

MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH, the renowned sports- and luxury car modification specialists, present their latest developments for the current V6 and V8 range of engines for the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Vogue.
The MANSORY specialists have tapped into the British SUV’s reserves of power, and unlocked an impressive increase in performance from the diesel engines by integrating an additional engine control unit. To increase the power of the supercharged petrol engines, a pulley kit is used in addition to the additional engine control unit. This increases the manifold pressure in the standard supercharger due to a change in transmission, which forces a greater amount of compressed oxygen into the combustion chamber.
Once the MANSORY-Powerbox is fitted in a simple Plug & Play process, the 3.0l SDV6 diesel engine has 243kW/330PS at 3,700 rpm at its disposal. At the same time, torque increases to an impressive 700Nm at 1,800 rpm (production model: 215kW/292PS at 4,000 rpm and 600Nm at 2,000 rpm).

2015 NOVITEC TORADO Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster is one of the world’s most exciting and powerful drop-top sports cars. NOVITEC TORADO, the business division of NOVITEC GROUP specializing in the exclusive refinement of the automobiles from Sant’Agata Bolognese, now presents an extensive range of customization options that make the open two-seater even more extravagant and dynamic.
The NOVITEC TORADO appearance upgrade comprises strikingly styled and aerodynamically efficient carbon-fiber body components and tailor-made staggered high-tech forged wheels with diameters of 20 and 21 inches. NOVITEC TORADO tuning boosts the power output of the Aventador’s 12-cylinder engine to 535 kW / 728 hp, and thanks to a high-performance exhaust system with active electronic sound management at the push of a button in the cockpit the engine sounds even more spectacular. Exclusive options for the interior round out the product lineup.

2014 Audi RS7 Piloted Driving Concept

Audi has developed the world’s sportiest piloted driving car. At the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) season finale, the Audi RS 7 piloted driving concept car will demonstrate its dynamic potential and driving capabilities for the first time on the Hockenheimring – at racing speed, without a driver.
“We are pressing forward with one of the most important trends in the automotive world with our technical solutions for piloted driving,” says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Board Member for Technical Development at AUDI AG. “The utter fascination of this development will be put on display at the DTM race in Hockenheim. A lap time of just over two minutes and lateral acceleration of up to 1.1 g speak for themselves.”
Audi has long been a driving force in the area of highly automated driving. The brand’s development efforts have produced a number of spectacular feats. In 2010, for instance, a driverless Audi TTS* conquered the legendary Pikes Peak mountain race circuit in Colorado, USA. Audi has time and again showcased the potential of the technology with demonstrations at the limit. With 560 hp and a top speed of 305 km/h (189.5 mph), the Audi RS 7 piloted driving concept car exemplifies Vorsprung durch Technik.

2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 35

One man, one G, one life's work. That sums up the essence of an unprecedented global adventure. When Gunther Holtorf and his wife Christine set out in their Mercedes-Benz 300 GD to visit as many of the countries around the world as possible, the G-Class was just ten years old. Today, some 26 years, just under 900,000 kilometres, and 215 visited countries later, Gunther Holtorf drove his cherished G – christened 'Otto' – back home to Swabia. The marathon vehicle will take pride of place in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, where it will go on show to visitors in the Classic Cars section from 21 October. As a world-record holder, 'Otto' will also be immortalised in the Guinness World Records. Since the finish of this unique journey around the world will coincide with the 35th anniversary of the G-Class, the occasion will be marked with the launch of the highly exclusive G 350 BlueTEC Edition 35 and G 500 Edition 35 special models.
When the vehicle was officially handed over to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, was equally impressed by the driver and the vehicle. "I promise that there will still be a G-Class in the future. Will there be more characters of Mr Holtorf's ilk in the future? I hope so," said Dr Zetsche.

2015 NOVITEC TRIDENTE Maserati Quattroporte

Suspension solutions specifically calibrated to the king-sized wheels lend the four-door car even more agile handling. Exclusive interior options round out the product lineup.
The know-how amassed by the NOVITEC engine specialists over decades provides the perfect foundation for creating the performance kits for the Ghibli, which start at EUR 1,290 MSRP. The development of the plug-and-play performance kits, which realize the increase in power through modified mapping for the electronic engine management system, not only focused on maximum power: the development goal also included a powerful torque curve, refined running, exemplary emissions and maximum durability.

2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4

It makes light work of extreme summits like the Timmelsjoch, even in the harshest of conditions in the depths of winter. It slaves away in muddy excavations, and traverses sand and scree pistes in the farthest corners of the world. With all-wheel drive, the new Sprinter 4x4 is displaying its outstanding capabilities even under the most adverse of conditions. The undisputed number-one van with a GVW of around 3.5 t meets the strictest of requirements when it comes to traction. "Born to run." – the Mercedes-Benz Vans brand claim describes the high-traction Sprinter 4x4 to a tee.

Sprinter 4x4: all-wheel drive for professionals rather than the boulevard

When the going gets tough, the Sprinter gets going: the new Sprinter 4x4 provides that decisive extra traction under tough conditions. The Sprinter 4x4 crewbus is at home transporting hotel guests to snowy Alpine resorts while the panel van can convey work crews, materials and tools to wind turbines in wet fields. The crewcab can pull construction machinery out of pits, and the chassis with camper van body can take adventurers across rocky or sandy deserts.
The Sprinter 4x4 is an all-wheel-drive van for professionals rather than the boulevard. Its home terrain? Construction sites, mountains, snowy regions and natural landscapes. And it covers an equally wide range of industries: construction, building materials, energy supply, forestry, the hotel business and, last but not least, people with a thirst for adventure.

2015 Audi S6 Avant

“With the new Audi A6, we are writing the next chapter in an excellent success story. It represents innovative technology and Audi's premium claim,” says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Board Member for Technical Development at AUDI AG. “The Audi A6 sets new standards in many technical fields: the lightweight body containing many aluminum components, the powerful and highly efficient engines, the sporty chassis and the advanced assistance and multimedia systems.”
Sharp lines, emphasized horizontals, athletically taut surfaces – the design of the A6 models epitomizes precision and sporty elegance. It was carefully honed as part of the model refresh, with changes made to the Singleframe grille, the headlights, air inlets, bumpers, side sills, rear lights and tailpipes. Audi optionally offers headlights with LED technology or Matrix LED technology, combined with dynamic turn signals.
Thanks to its intelligent composite construction concept, the body is extremely rigid and safe. Numerous components of aluminum and hot-shaped steel form the backbone of a systematic lightweight construction concept. The new A6 1.8 TFSI has a curb weight (without driver) of just 1,535 kilograms (3384.1 lb). Vibrational comfort is excellent; cabin noise is extremely low.

2015 Fiat Novo Uno

A new phase. Yes, the charming successor of the legendary Uno is launching the 2015 line with evolution, sophistication and bringing leading-edge technologies affordable for Brazilian consumers.
Novo Uno has an even more modern exterior design, a brand-new interior, with more comfort and sophistication on board, as well as new technologies – some unprecedented in its segment and even in the Brazilian market. Follow the major evolution below:
  • The 2015 Novo Uno is the first national car to use the Start&Stop technology – one more example of the pioneer spirit of the brand Fiat in Brazil. It is also the first time this innovation comes on a flex engine, running both on gasoline and ethanol. The last-generation Start&Stop turns the engine off and on again automatically during traffic stops, and also becomes a national benchmark in fuel saving low emissions of CO2.
  • The model was also chosen by Fiat to offer the new concept of the brand’s renowned Dualogic® transmission. Now, the new gearshift is controlled by buttons in the central console and by “butterflies” (paddle shifts) behind the steering wheel to shift gears manually. An unprecedented sophisticated item in national cars, only found in the most luxurious vehicles.
  • These are not the only new technologies. The 2015 Novo Uno now has an instrument panel with high-resolution 3.5” LCD display, electric external rearview mirrors with Tilt Down function, rear parking sensor, radio integrated to the dashboard with bigger display and new functions, direction indicator switch with Lane Change function, among other features.
  • The revolutionary design of Novo Uno has gained important enhancements from Fiat’s Style Center. The success of its round square shapes has evolved, gaining new, more prominent and robust lines, as well as more refined design elements, such as fractals in headlights and lamps – never losing the model’s identity.
  • The interior of the 2015 Novo Uno has plenty of new features. Completely reformulated, it brings a new concept in design, with more refined and modern finishing.
